Suzanne Pleshette
Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died on January 19, 2008. She was an American actress, voiceactress, film, television and theatre director. Pleshette began her stage career, and was a part of films towards the end of the 1950s. She was later featured in films that were notable, such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). Later, she appeared in a variety of television shows, usually in guest roles, and played Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978. She was awarded several Emmy Award nominations for her work.
